Tony Award winner Jim Norton, currently appearing off-Broadway in The Night Alive, has joined the upcoming Broadway revival of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the production begins performances March 19 at the Longacre Theatre, with an opening set for April 16.
In the drama, Norton will take on the role of Candy. Norton has also appeared on Broadway in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Finian’s Rainbow, The Weir, and The Seafarer, for which he won Tony and Olivier Awards.
Norton joins a company that includes Academy Award nominee James Franco, Chris O’Dowd, and Leighton Meester. Additional cast and creative-team members will be announced in the coming weeks.
